About this build

Ireland Lightning Monitor is a personal weather-data project focused on recent lightning activity around Ireland and nearby coastal waters.

The public map reads from a Cloudflare Worker API backed by D1. The Worker collects from Xweather on a schedule, stores recent strikes, and serves this website and future projects from the cache.

The current sweep is cost-conscious rather than perfect continuous coverage: five 100 km Ireland query points run every 20 minutes.
